Youth Service
The Odyssey Youth Outreach Service can work with any young person who is referred to Odyssey House, both before and after their attendance at both the Day and Residential Programmes. Support can also be provided to these young people’s family and Whanau. One to one work and telephone advice and support can be offered with regard to: Finding accommodation; Education and Training; Employment; WINZ benefits, amongst other issues.

Adult Service
The Odyssey Adult Outreach Service can work with adults who are referred to Odyssey House, both before and after their attendance on the Programme. Support can also be provided for their family and Whanau members at this time. Face to face individual work; telephone support and group work are offered. The Outreach Support Group is currently held at 6.30pm every Tuesday (contact the Outreach Team for details of location) and is open to anyone who has attended the Odyssey House Programme, regardless of their length of stay.The Odyssey Youth Outreach Service can work with any young person who is referred to Odyssey House, both before and after their attendance at both the Day and Residential Programmes. Who is this service for?
We work with adult males, young men and women up to the age of 18, before and after they attend the Odyssey House Programmes
We also provide support to family/Whanau members. We also deal with all Referrals and Admissions for the Adult Programme
What does this service offer?
Face to face contact and telephone support
Therapeutic intervention to help with drug and alcohol issues. Practical assistance with:
Finding accommodation; Employment, education and training, WINZ benefits
Advice and education, Advocacy
Referrals to other agencies
Support Group – For Adults this
takes place every Tuesday at 6.30pm
In addition, Outreach Staff undertake presentations to community organisations and other agencies i.e. corrections, schools, colleges regarding all Odyssey House Services
