The Community Brief Intervention team is able to provide up to six AOD focused brief intervention sessions at a variety of locations around Christchurch. As a potential reduction in barriers to engagement we are able to offer evening and Saturday appointments.

Community Brief Intervention is a service offering face to face brief intervention counselling at a variety of locations around Christchurch. All staff are fully trained and accredited Alcohol and Other Drug Counsellors. We offer up to six sessions focusing on the harm reduction model, relapse prevention and other strategies for making positive changes.
